He is Allah, other than whom there is no deity, the Sovereign, the Pure, the Perfection, the Bestower of Faith, the Overseer, the Exalted in Might, the Compeller, the Superior. Exalted is Allah above whatever they associate with Him. (59:23)

Who has fed them, [saving them] from hunger and made them safe, [saving them] from fear. (106:4)

And among them are those who abuse the Prophet and say, "He is an ear." Say, "[It is] an ear of goodness for you that believes in Allah and believes the believers and [is] a mercy to those who believe among you." And those who abuse the Messenger of Allah - for them is a painful punishment. (9:61)

And know that among you is the Messenger of Allah. If he were to obey you in much of the matter, you would be in difficulty, but Allah has endeared to you the faith and has made it pleasing in your hearts and has made hateful to you disbelief, defiance and disobedience. Those are the [rightly] guided. (49:7)

They who believe and do not mix their belief with injustice - those will have security, and they are [rightly] guided. (6:82)

And Allah presents an example: a city which was safe and secure, its provision coming to it in abundance from every location, but it denied the favors of Allah . So Allah made it taste the envelopment of hunger and fear for what they had been doing. (16:112)

Who has fed them, [saving them] from hunger and made them safe, [saving them] from fear. (106:4)

Hadith

1. It was narrated from Salamah bin ‘Ubaidullah bin Mihsan Al-Ansari that his father (رضی الله عنهم) said: “The Messenger of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) said:

‘Whoever among you wakes up physically healthy, feeling safe and secure within himself, with food for the day, it is as if he acquired the whole world.’”

(Sunan Ibn Majah Vol. 5, Book 37, Hadith 4141)

2. Narrated Abu Shuraih (رضي الله عنه): The Prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) said,

"By Allah, he does not believe! By Allah, he does not believe! By Allah, he does not believe!"

It was said, "Who is that, O Allah's Messenger (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)?" He said,

"That person whose neighbor does not feel safe from his evil."

(Sahih al-Bukhari 6016)

3. Narrated Jabir (رضي الله عنه): that the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) said:

"Between disbelief and faith is abandoning the Salat."

4. Narrated Abu Musa (رضي الله عنه): The Prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) said,

"A faithful believer to a faithful believer is like the bricks of a wall, enforcing each other."

While (saying that) the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) clasped his hands, by interlacing his fingers.

5. It was narrated that Jundub bin 'Abdullah (رضي الله عنه) said:

6. Narrated 'Ubada bin As-Samit (رضي الله عنه): The Prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) said,

Faith has over seventy branches or over sixty branches, the most excellent of which is the declaration that there is no god but Allah, and the humblest of which is the, removal of what is injurious from the path: and modesty is the branch of faith.

9. Narrated Hudhaifa (رضي الله عنه): Allah's Messenger (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) said to us,

"Honesty descended from the Heavens and settled in the roots of the hearts of men (faithful believers), and then the Qur'an was revealed and the people read the Qur'an, (and learnt it from it) and also learnt it from the Sunnah."

[Both Qur'an and Sunnah strengthened their (the faithful believers') honesty.]
