3. Explanation

The One who is supremely great. The One who is greater than all of creation. The One who manifests greatness in all things and in all ways. The One who has rights, privileges and attributes which others have not.

4. Quran

هُوَ اللَّهُ الَّذِي لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ الْمَلِكُ الْقُدُّوسُ السَّلَامُ الْمُؤْمِنُ الْمُهَيْمِنُ الْعَزِيزُ الْجَبَّارُ الْمُتَكَبِّرُ ۚ سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ عَمَّا يُشْرِكُونَ

He is Allah, other than whom there is no deity, the Sovereign, the Pure, the Perfection, the Bestower of Faith, the Overseer, the Exalted in Might, the Compeller, the Superior. Exalted is Allah above whatever they associate with Him. (59:23)

وَلَهُ الْكِبْرِيَاءُ فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ ۖ وَهُوَ الْعَزِيزُ الْحَكِيمُ

And to Him belongs [all] grandeur within the heavens and the earth, and He is the Exalted in Might, the Wise. (45:37)

وَقَالَ رَبُّكُمُ ادْعُونِي أَسْتَجِبْ لَكُمْ ۚ إِنَّ الَّذِينَ يَسْتَكْبِرُونَ عَنْ عِبَادَتِي سَيَدْخُلُونَ جَهَنَّمَ دَاخِرِينَ

And your Lord says, "Call upon Me; I will respond to you." Indeed, those who disdain My worship will enter Hell [rendered] contemptible. (40:60)

إِنَّهُمْ كَانُوا إِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمْ لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ يَسْتَكْبِرُونَ

Indeed they, when it was said to them, "There is no deity but Allah," were arrogant. (37:35)

۩ إِنَّمَا يُؤْمِنُ بِآيَاتِنَا الَّذِينَ إِذَا ذُكِّرُوا بِهَا خَرُّوا سُجَّدًا وَسَبَّحُوا بِحَمْدِ رَبِّهِمْ وَهُمْ لَا يَسْتَكْبِرُونَ

Only those believe in Our verses who, when they are reminded by them, fall down in prostration and exalt [ Allah ] with praise of their Lord, and they are not arrogant. (32:15)

۩ إِنَّ الَّذِينَ عِندَ رَبِّكَ لَا يَسْتَكْبِرُونَ عَنْ عِبَادَتِهِ وَيُسَبِّحُونَهُ وَلَهُ يَسْجُدُونَ

Indeed, those who are near your Lord are not prevented by arrogance from His worship, and they exalt Him, and to Him they prostrate. (7:206)

۩ وَلِلَّهِ يَسْجُدُ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَمَا فِي الْأَرْضِ مِن دَابَّةٍ وَالْمَلَائِكَةُ وَهُمْ لَا يَسْتَكْبِرُونَ

And to Allah prostrates whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth of creatures, and the angels [as well], and they are not arrogant. (16:49)

وَلَهُ مَن فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ ۚ وَمَنْ عِندَهُ لَا يَسْتَكْبِرُونَ عَنْ عِبَادَتِهِ وَلَا يَسْتَحْسِرُونَ

To Him belongs whoever is in the heavens and the earth. And those near Him are not prevented by arrogance from His worship, nor do they tire. (21:19)

لَتَجِدَنَّ أَشَدَّ النَّاسِ عَدَاوَةً لِّلَّذِينَ آمَنُوا الْيَهُودَ وَالَّذِينَ أَشْرَكُوا ۖ وَلَتَجِدَنَّ أَقْرَبَهُم مَّوَدَّةً لِّلَّذِينَ آمَنُوا الَّذِينَ قَالُوا إِنَّا نَصَارَىٰ ۚ ذَٰلِكَ بِأَنَّ مِنْهُمْ قِسِّيسِينَ وَرُهْبَانًا وَأَنَّهُمْ لَا يَسْتَكْبِرُونَ

You will surely find the most intense of the people in animosity toward the believers [to be] the Jews and those who associate others with Allah ; and you will find the nearest of them in affection to the believers those who say, "We are Christians." That is because among them are priests and monks and because they are not arrogant. (5:82)

فَادْخُلُوا أَبْوَابَ جَهَنَّمَ خَالِدِينَ فِيهَا ۖ فَلَبِئْسَ مَثْوَى الْمُتَكَبِّرِينَ

So enter the gates of Hell to abide eternally therein, and how wretched is the residence of the arrogant. (16:29)

بَلَىٰ قَدْ جَاءَتْكَ آيَاتِي فَكَذَّبْتَ بِهَا وَاسْتَكْبَرْتَ وَكُنتَ مِنَ الْكَافِرِينَ

But yes, there had come to you My verses, but you denied them and were arrogant, and you were among the disbelievers. (39:59)

وَيَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ تَرَى الَّذِينَ كَذَبُوا عَلَى اللَّهِ وُجُوهُهُم مُّسْوَدَّةٌ ۚ أَلَيْسَ فِي جَهَنَّمَ مَثْوًى لِّلْمُتَكَبِّرِينَ

And on the Day of Resurrection you will see those who lied about Allah [with] their faces blackened. Is there not in Hell a residence for the arrogant? (39:60)

وَإِذْ قُلْنَا لِلْمَلَائِكَةِ اسْجُدُوا لِآدَمَ فَسَجَدُوا إِلَّا إِبْلِيسَ أَبَىٰ وَاسْتَكْبَرَ وَكَانَ مِنَ الْكَافِرِينَ

And [mention] when We said to the angels, "Prostrate before Adam"; so they prostrated, except for Iblees. He refused and was arrogant and became of the disbelievers. (2:34)

وَقُلِ الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي لَمْ يَتَّخِذْ وَلَدًا وَلَمْ يَكُن لَّهُ شَرِيكٌ فِي الْمُلْكِ وَلَمْ يَكُن لَّهُ وَلِيٌّ مِّنَ الذُّلِّ ۖ وَكَبِّرْهُ تَكْبِيرًا

And say, "Praise to Allah, who has not taken a son and has had no partner in [His] dominion and has no [need of a] protector out of weakness; and glorify Him with [great] glorification." (17:111)

وَرَبَّكَ فَكَبِّرْ

And your Lord glorify. (74:3)

5. Hadith

5.1 Haritha b. Wahb al-Khuza'i (رضي الله عنه) reported Allah's Messenger (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) as saying:

أَلاَ أُخْبِرُكُمْ بِأَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ كُلُّ ضَعِيفٍ مُتَضَعَّفٍ لَوْ أَقْسَمَ عَلَى اللَّهِ لأَبَرَّهُ أَلاَ أُخْبِرُكُمْ بِأَهْلِ النَّارِ كُلُّ جَوَّاظٍ زَنِيمٍ مُتَكَبِّرٍ

May I not inform you about the inmates of Paradise? (And then informing about them) said: Every meek person who is considered to be humble and if they were to adjure in the name of Allah, Allah would certainly fulfill it. May I not inform you about the inmates of Hell-Fire? They are all proud, mean and haughty.

(Sahih Muslim 2853 c)

5.2 Abdullah b. 'Umar (رضي الله عنه) reported Allah's Messenger (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) saying:

يَطْوِي اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ السَّمَوَاتِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ ثُمَّ يَأْخُذُهُنَّ بِيَدِهِ الْيُمْنَى ثُمَّ يَقُولُ أَنَا الْمَلِكُ أَيْنَ الْجَبَّارُونَ أَيْنَ الْمُتَكَبِّرُونَ ثُمَّ يَطْوِي الأَرَضِينَ بِشِمَالِهِ ثُمَّ يَقُولُ أَنَا الْمَلِكُ أَيْنَ الْجَبَّارُونَ أَيْنَ الْمُتَكَبِّرُونَ ‏"‏ ‏.‏

Allah, the Exalted and Glorious, would fold the Heavens on the Day of Judgment and then He would place them on His right hand and say: I am the Lord; where are the haughty and where are the proud (today)? He would fold the' earth (placing it) on the left hand and say: I am the Lord; where are the haughty and where are the proud (today)?

(Sahih Muslim 2788 a)

5.3 Abu Hurairah (رضي الله عنه) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) said:

احْتَجَّتِ الْجَنَّةُ وَالنَّارُ فَقَالَتِ الْجَنَّةُ يَدْخُلُنِي الضُّعَفَاءُ وَالْمَسَاكِينُ ‏.‏ وَقَالَتِ النَّارُ يَدْخُلُنِي الْجَبَّارُونَ وَالْمُتَكَبِّرُونَ ‏.‏ فَقَالَ لِلنَّارِ أَنْتِ عَذَابِي أَنْتَقِمُ بِكِ مِمَّنْ شِئْتُ ‏.‏ وَقَالَ لِلْجَنَّةِ أَنْتِ رَحْمَتِي أَرْحَمُ بِكِ مَنْ شِئْتُ

"Paradise and the Fire debated. Paradise said: 'The weak and the poor shall enter me,' and the Fire said: 'The tyrants and the proud shall enter me.' So He (جل جلاله) said to the Fire: 'You are My Punishment, I take vengeance through you from whom I will,' and He (جل جلاله) said to Paradise: 'You are My Mercy I show mercy through you to whom I will.'"

(Jami` at-Tirmidhi Vol. 4, Book 12, Hadith 2561)

5.4 Narrated Abu Huraira (رضي الله عنه): The Prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) said,

تَحَاجَّتِ الْجَنَّةُ وَالنَّارُ فَقَالَتِ النَّارُ أُوثِرْتُ بِالْمُتَكَبِّرِينَ وَالْمُتَجَبِّرِينَ‏.‏ وَقَالَتِ الْجَنَّةُ مَا لِي لاَ يَدْخُلُنِي إِلاَّ ضُعَفَاءُ النَّاسِ وَسَقَطُهُمْ‏.‏ قَالَ اللَّهُ تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى لِلْجَنَّةِ أَنْتِ رَحْمَتِي أَرْحَمُ بِكِ مَنْ أَشَاءُ مِنْ عِبَادِي‏.‏ وَقَالَ لِلنَّارِ إِنَّمَا أَنْتِ عَذَابٌ أُعَذِّبُ بِكِ مَنْ أَشَاءُ مِنْ عِبَادِي‏.‏ وَلِكُلِّ وَاحِدَةٍ مِنْهُمَا مِلْؤُهَا، فَأَمَّا النَّارُ فَلاَ تَمْتَلِئُ حَتَّى يَضَعَ رِجْلَهُ فَتَقُولُ قَطٍ قَطٍ قَطٍ‏.‏ فَهُنَالِكَ تَمْتَلِئُ وَيُزْوَى بَعْضُهَا إِلَى بَعْضٍ، وَلاَ يَظْلِمُ اللَّهُ ـ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ ـ مِنْ خَلْقِهِ أَحَدًا، وَأَمَّا الْجَنَّةُ فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ يُنْشِئُ لَهَا خَلْقًا

"Paradise and the Fire (Hell) argued, and the Fire (Hell) said, "I have been given the privilege of receiving the arrogant and the tyrants.' Paradise said, 'What is the matter with me? Why do only the weak and the humble among the people enter me?' On that, Allah said to Paradise. 'You are My Mercy which I bestow on whoever I wish of my servants.' Then Allah said to the (Hell) Fire, 'You are my (means of) punishment by which I punish whoever I wish of my slaves. And each of you will have its fill.' As for the Fire (Hell), it will not be filled till Allah puts His Foot over it whereupon it will say, 'Qati! Qati! (Stop)' At that time it will be filled, and its different parts will come closer to each other; and Allah will not wrong any of His created beings. As regards Paradise, Allah will create a new creation to fill it with."

5.5 'Amr bin Shu'aib (رضي الله عنه) narrated from his father, from his grandfather from the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) who said:

يُحْشَرُ الْمُتَكَبِّرُونَ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ أَمْثَالَ الذَّرِّ فِي صُوَرِ الرِّجَالِ يَغْشَاهُمُ الذُّلُّ مِنْ كُلِّ مَكَانٍ فَيُسَاقُونَ إِلَى سِجْنٍ فِي جَهَنَّمَ يُسَمَّى بُولَسَ تَعْلُوهُمْ نَارُ الأَنْيَارِ يُسْقَوْنَ مِنْ عُصَارَةِ أَهْلِ النَّارِ طِينَةِ الْخَبَالِ

"The proud will be gathered on the Day of Judgement resembling tiny particles in the image of men. They will be covered with humiliation everywhere, they will be dragged into a prison in Hell called 'Bulas', submerged in the Fire of Fires, drinking the drippings of the people of the Fire, filled with derangement."

(Jami` at-Tirmidhi Vol. 4, Book 11, Hadith 2492)

5.6 Jabir (رضي الله عنه) reported: The Messenger of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) said,

إن من أحبكم إلي، وأقربكم منى مجلساً يوم القيامة أحاسنكم أخلاقاً، وإن أبغضكم إلي وأبعدكم مني يوم القيامة، الثرثارون والمتشدقون والمتفيهقون

"The dearest and nearest among you to me on the Day of Resurrection will be one who is the best of you in manners; and the most abhorrent among you to me and the farthest of you from me will be the pompous, the garrulous, and Al-Mutafaihiqun."

The Companions asked him: "O Messenger of Allah! We know about the pompous and the garrulous, but we do not know who Al-Mutafaihiqun are." He replied:

المتكبرون

"The arrogant people."

(Riyad as-Salihin Book 1, Hadith 631)

5.7 Abu Hurayra (رضي الله عنه) reported that the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) said that Allah Almighty said,

الْعِزُّ إِزَارِي، وَالْكِبْرِيَاءُ رِدَائِي، فَمَنْ نَازَعَنِي بِشَيْءٍ مِنْهُمَا عَذَّبْتُهُ

"Might is My wrapper and pride is My cloak. I will punish anyone who contends with Me over either of them."

(Al-Adab Al-Mufrad 552)

5.8 On the authority of Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه), who said that the Messenger of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) said: Allah (عز و جل) said:

قَالَ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ: الْكِبْرِيَاءُ رِدَائِي، وَالْعَظَمَةُ إِزَارِي، فَمَنْ نَازَعَنِي وَاحِدًا مِنْهُمَا، قَذَفْتُهُ فِي النَّارِ

"Pride is my cloak and greatness My robe, and he who competes with Me in respect of either of them I shall cast into Hell-fire."

(40 Hadith Qudsi, 19)

5.9 Abdullah (رضي الله عنه) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) said:

لاَ يَدْخُلُ الْجَنَّةَ مَنْ كَانَ فِي قَلْبِهِ مِثْقَالُ حَبَّةٍ مِنْ خَرْدَلٍ مِنْ كِبْرٍ وَلاَ يَدْخُلُ النَّارَ مَنْ كَانَ فِي قَلْبِهِ مِثْقَالُ حَبَّةٍ مِنْ إِيمَانٍ

"Whoever has a mustard seed's weight of pride (arrogance) in his heart, shall not be admitted into Paradise. And whoever has a mustard seed's weight of faith in his heart, shall not be admitted into the Fire."

5.10 It Is narrated on the authority of Abdullah b. Mas'ud (رضي الله عنه) that the Messenger of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم), observed:

لاَ يَدْخُلُ الْجَنَّةَ مَنْ كَانَ فِي قَلْبِهِ مِثْقَالُ ذَرَّةٍ مِنْ كِبْرٍ

"He who has in his heart the weight of a mustard seed of pride shall not enter Paradise."

A person (amongst his hearers) said: Verily a person loves that his dress should be fine, and his shoes should be fine. He (the Holy Prophet) remarked:

إِنَّ اللَّهَ جَمِيلٌ يُحِبُّ الْجَمَالَ ۔ الْكِبْرُ بَطَرُ الْحَقِّ وَغَمْطُ النَّاسِ

"Verily, Allah is Graceful and He loves Grace. Pride is disdaining the truth (out of self-conceit) and contempt for the people."

(Sahih Muslim 91 a)

5.11 Buraidah (رضي الله عنه) narrated that Rasulullah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) supplicated

اللهم اجعلني شكورا واجعلني صبورا واجعلني في عيني صغيرا وفي أعين الناس كبيرا

"O Allah, make me grateful and make me patient and make me insignificant in my own eyes and elative in the eyes of people."

(Majma Al-Zawaid)

5.12 Sa'd bin Abu Waqqas (رضي الله عنه) reported: A Bedouin came to the Messenger of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) and said to him, "Teach me a few words to recite frequently." He (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) said, "Say:

لا إله إلا الله وحده لا شريك له، الله أكبر كبيرا والحمد لله كثيرا وسبحان الله رب العالمين، ولا حول ولا قوة إلا بالله العزيز الحكيم

'There is no true god except Allah the One and He has no partner with Him; Allah is the Greatest and greatness is for Him. All praise is due to Him. Allah, the Rubb of the worlds is free from imperfection; there is no might and power but that of Allah, the All-Powerful and the All-Wise'."

The Bedouin said: "All of these for my Rubb. But what is for me?"

Thereupon he [Messenger of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)] said, "You should say:

اللهم اغفر لي، وارحمني، واهدني، وارزقني

'O Allah! Grant me pardon, have mercy upon me, direct me to righteousness and provide me subsistence'."

(Riyad as-Salihin Book 15, Hadith 7)

Duas

اللهم يا الله يا رحمن يا رحيم يا علي يا عظيم يا أحد يا صمد يا فرد يا وتر يا سميع يا عليم يا عالم يا كبير يا متكبر يا جليل يا جميل يا حليم يا قوي يا عزيز يا متعزز يا جبار يا مؤمن يا مهيمن يا جبار يا علي يا معين يا حنان يا منان يا تواب يا باعث يا وارث يا حميد يا مجيد يا معبود يا موجود يا ظاهر يا باطن يا أول يا آخر يا حي يا قيوم يا ذا الجلال والاكرام ويا ذا العزة والسلطان. أسألك بحق هذه الأسماء يا الله وبحق أسمائك كلها أن تصلي على محمد و آل محمد، وأن تفرج عني كل هم وغم وكرب وضر وضيق أنا فيه، وتقضي عني ديني وتبلغني أمنيتي وتسهل لي محبتي وتيسر لي إرادتي، وتوصلني إلى بغيتي، سريعا " عاجلا "، وتعطيني سؤلي ومسئلتي، وتزيدني فوق رغبتي، وتجمع لي خير الدنيا والآخرة

اللهم رب هذا اليوم الجديد، وهذا الشهر الجديد، ماد الظل، و لو شاء لجعله ساكنا ثم جعل الشمس عليه دليلا، ثم قبضه إليه قبضا يسيرا، يا ذا الجود والطول والكبرياء لا إله إلا أنت عالم الغيب والشهادة يا رحمن يا رحيم يا الله لا إله إلا أنت يا ملك يا قدوس يا سلام يا مؤمن يا مهيمن يا عزيز يا جبار يا متكبر يا خالق يا بارئ يا مصور يا الله يا الله يا الله لك الأسماء الحسنى، والأمثال العليا، والآخرة والأولى، اغفر لي الذنوب كلها، يا غافر الخطايا، أنت ربي وأنا عبدك المقر بذنبه، عملت سوء وظلمت نفسي، فاغفر لي إنه لا يغفر الذنوب إلا أنت يا أرحم الراحمين.

اللهم يا سلام يا مؤمن يا مهيمن، يا جبار يا متكبر، يا أحد يا صمد، يا واحد يا فرد، يا غفور يا رحيم، يا ودود يا حليم، مضى من الشهر المبارك الثلث، ولست أدري سيدي ما صنعت في حاجتي، هل غفرت لي؟ إن أنت غفرت لي فطوبى لي، وإن لم تكن غفرت لي فواسوأتاه. فمن الان سيدي فاغفر لي وارحمني، وتب علي ولا تخذلني، وأقلني عثرتي، واسترني بسترك، واعف عني بعفوك، وارحمني برحمتك، وتجاوز عني بقدرتك، إنك تقضي ولا يقضى عليك، وأنت على كل شئ قدير

اللهم إني أسألك يا الله يا أكبر من كل كبير، يا من لا شريك له ولا وزير، يا خالق الشمس والقمر المنير، يا رازق الطفل الصغير، يا مغنى البائس الفقير، يا مغيث الممتهن الضرير، يا مطلق المكبل الأسير يا جابر العظم الكسير، يا قاصم كل جبار متكبر، يا محيي العظام وهي رميم، يا من لا ند له ولا شبيه اللهم إني أسئلك أن تصلي على محمد وآل محمد، وأسألك يا إلهي بكل ما دعوتك به من هذا الدعاء، وبجميع أسمائك كلها، وبمعاقد العز من عرشك، ومنتهى الرحمة من كتابك، وبجدك الأعلى، وبك فلا شئ أعظم منك أن تغفر لنا وترحمنا فانا إلى رحمتك فقراء يا أرحم الراحمين

يا أول يا آخر يا ظاهر يا باطن يا واسع يا شاكر يا صادق يا حافظ يا فاطر يا قادر يا قاهر يا غافر يا واحد يا أحد يا فرد يا صمد يا علي يا غني يا ملي يا قوى يا ولى يا جواد يا مجيب يا رقيب يا حسيب يا مغيث يا محيي يا مميت يا متكبر يا معيد يا حميد يا نور يا هادي يا مبدئ يا موفق يا حي يا قيوم يا وهاب يا تواب يا فتاح يا مرتاح يا من بيده كل مفتاح يا ذارئ يا متعالي يا كافي يا بادي يا بارئ يا والى يا باقي يا حفيظ يا سديد يا سيد يا سريع يا بديع يا رفيع يا باعث يا رازق يا وحيد يا جليل يا كفيل، يا دليل المتحيرين يا قاضي حوائج السائلين يا مجيب دعوة المضطرين، اجعل لي من كل هم فرجا ومخرجا، وارزقني رزقا حلالا طيبا من حيث أحتسب ومن حيث لا أحتسب

يا رحمن يا رحيم يا الله لا إله إلا أنت يا ملك يا قدوس يا سلام يا مؤمن يا مهيمن يا عزيز يا جبار يا متكبر يا خالق يا بارئ يا مصور يا الله يا الله يا الله لك الأسماء الحسنى، والأمثال العليا، والآخرة والأولى، اغفر لي الذنوب كلها، يا غافر الخطايا، أنت ربي وأنا عبدك المقر بذنبه، عملت سوء وظلمت نفسي، فاغفر لي إنه لا يغفر الذنوب إلا أنت يا أرحم الراحمين

مولاي يا مولاي، أنت الغفور وأنا المذنب، وهل يرحم المذنب إلا الغفور

مولاي يا مولاي، أنت الغالب وأنا المغلوب، وهل يرحم المغلوب إلا الغالب

مولاي يا مولاي، أنت المتكبر وأنا الخاشع، وهل يرحم الخاشع إلا المتكبر؟

مولاي يا مولاي، ارحمني برحمتك وارض عني بجودك وكرمك، يا ذا الجود والإحسان، والطول والامتنان، برحمتك يا أرحم الراحمين

يا متعالي القريب، في علو ارتفاع دنوه، يا جبار المذلل كل شئ بقهر عزيز سلطانه، يا نور كل شئ أنت الذي فلق الظلمات نوره، يا قدوس الطاهر من كل شئ ولا شئ يعدله، يا قريب المجيب المتداني دون كل شئ قربه، يا عالي الشامخ في السماء فوق كل شئ علو ارتفاعه، يا بديع البدائع ومعيدها بعد فنائها بقدرته. يا جليل المتكبر على كل شئ، فالعدل أمره والصدق وعده، يا مجيد فلا يبلغ الأوهام كل ثنائه ومجده، يا كريم العفو والعدل، أنت الذي ملأ كل شئ عدله، يا عظيم ذا الثناء الفاخر والعز والكبرياء فلا يذل عزه، يا عجيب لا تنطق الألسن بكل آلائه وثنائه. أسألك يا معتمدي عند كل كربة، وغياثي عند كل شدة، بهذه الأسماء أمانا من عقوبات الدنيا الآخرة، وأسألك أن تصرف عني بهن كل سوء ومخوف ومحذور، وتصرف عني أبصار الظلمة المريدين بي السوء الذي نهيت عنه وأن تصرف قلوبهم من شر ما يضمرون إلى خير ما لا يملكون، ولا يملكه غيرك يا كريم
